C-97 Stratofreighter Desk
Wing part with elevator, casing removed, from military longhaul plane, Boeing C-97 Aileron. Maiden flight in 1944. As a further development of the Boeing B-29, the C-97 was used as a military transporter during the war. After the war, the C-97 was used as the basis for the development of the civil commercial aircraft B-377 Stratocruiser. A total of 74 C-97 planes were built.
